Goodman, a Hallmark marketing and sales executive, and written on a 3 x 5 card, which remains on display at company headquarters.  Those original nine words of that slogan have been preserved because of the successful impact it has had for Hallmark and ultimately Hallmark customers of that gift store for several decades.
